Photography is one of those wondrous explorations where the end result can fit within multiple categories, like design and art.
Images can be modified and totally butchered to represent an idea or simply just taken in the sense of showcasing an existing feature of the world. In this class, we explore different styles of photography in the hopes of broadening skill sets and perhaps striking up a new favorite amongst the students. In most cases, students will inevitably pick up a new favorite style of shooting, whether it be macro, infrared, portrait, digital manipulation or black and white.
Upon successful completion of the course, the student will:
- Explore photographic techniques
- Understand the basic principles of digital photography
- Understand the creative potential of photography
- Understand the relationship of photography and Photoshop
